Phenomena Labs

Phenomena Labs is a contemporary art studio exploring the relationship between natural systems and computational processes. Founded by Ronen Tanchum, the studio produces generative and immersive works that behave as living environments. Grounded in principles of growth, decay, and emergence, each work unfolds as a real-time system shaped by data, environment, and human presence. Technology is treated as a material. The works create conditions where viewers enter, influence, and become part of evolving systems. Phenomena Labs operates across exhibitions, institutional collaborations, and site-specific installations.

Our work unfolds in three distinct areas:

Immersive Environments: We create multisensory spaces that go beyond traditional art, combining visual, auditory, and interactive elements to form alternate realities.

Generative Art: Our dynamic artworks evolve continuously, driven by algorithms and real-time data, reflecting the ever-changing nature of our world.

Interactive Installations: Our installations invite active participation, transforming observers into creators and fostering deep connections and moments of wonder.

Our global reach includes collaborations with prestigious galleries, public art commissions, and partnerships with architects, developers, and hospitality venues, transforming spaces with our immersive art.

Classical Revival #0
Classical Revival – A Bridge Between Traditions Classical Revival transforms classical visual language into a generative system, repositioning historical aesthetics within a computational environment. Drawing from botanical illustration and ornamental traditions, the work unfolds as a dynamic composition shaped by both structure and emergence. Interaction is not an addition, but the condition of the work. Through touch or gesture, viewers introduce abstract vegetal forms that are absorbed into the composition’s internal logic. These marks do not sit on the surface, but propagate within the system. Authorship becomes distributed. The work unfolds between system and participant, where each gesture is integrated into an ongoing structure rather than fixed as an isolated act. The composition does not resolve. It remains in continuous formation, where historical order and emergent behavior coexist.
